  11. Some time ago my Boca 28.8 V.FC modem stopped working with a strange
  12. problem: when I turn it on, the TM and AA lights are the only lights
  13. to light up (and they stay lit) and the modem doesn't respond to any
  14. AT commands.  Am I correct is assessing that the modem is stuck in
  15. 'test mode'?

  17. Is there anything I can do to fix the modem?  I've given up on Boca's
  18. tech support: it's a toll call and they always have me on hold for
  19. upwards of 45 mins.  It's getting to the point where it'd be cheaper
  20. to buy a new 28.8 than to pay the phone bills.  Thus I appeal to the
  21. net, my last resort.

  23. If anyone has any advice or suggestions I'd be very thankful to hear
  24. them.  Right now the modem is as good as a paperweight so I'm willing
  25. to try ANYTHING.
